About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Dental Hygiene Therapist to join our team at the Ministry of Defence (Defence Medical Services). As a key member of our dental team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, while also supporting the delivery of dental services across multiple locations.

Responsibilities:
Key responsibilities include:
• Providing dental treatment, oral hygiene instruction, and education to patients, in accordance with the scope of practice for dental hygienists.
• Enhancing force generation and operational capability, while minimising dental morbidity on operations.
• Providing clinical and administrative support for the provision of dental care in other local DPHC sites or health fairs.

Requirements:
To be considered for this role, candidates must have a strong understanding of dental hygiene principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A GDC-approved Certificate/Diploma in Dental Hygiene or BSc (Bachelor of Science) in Dental Therapy is also required, along with a full United Kingdom driving licence and evidence of currency with GDC Continued Professional Development requirements.

What We Offer:
In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £28,407 to £34,581 per annum (pro rata for part-time work), along with a range of benefits, including a Market Skills Supplement of £5,750 per annum (pro rata) and reimbursement of the GDC Annual Retention Fee.
