We are seeking a skilled Fees Management Assistant to join our dynamic Commercial Finance Team at our Darlington Support Centre. This 12-month fixed-term contract role offers a unique opportunity to support the fee uplift and management process across the Group.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for

  1. Negotiating annual fee uplift expectations with ICBs, Local Authorities, and private clients
  2. Collaborating with service managers and colleagues to help with costing
  3. Communicating with funders and following up as required
  4. Maintaining accurate and organized records of communication with funders and others regarding fees
  5. Tracking agreed fees and informing relevant colleagues to ensure accurate billing
  6. Providing monthly and weekly reporting on progress and future fee increase projections
  7. Resolving discrepancies in expected fees and actual receipts
  8. Building relationships with our units to ensure required information is received

To be successful in this role, you will require

  1. Previous experience in a similar role within the healthcare sector
  2. A good understanding of the LA funding process
  3. A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  5. The ability to work autonomously and flexibly
  6. A positive and enthusiastic approach with a can-do attitude
  7. Strong excel, analysis, and presentational skills
  8. Excellent organizational skills
