Job Overview

Role of Commissioning Engineer
  1. Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation (MEICA) installations are crucial when delivering water sector asset improvements.
  2. You will plan, coordinate, and resource off and on-site process and MEICA commissioning activities.
  3. Work with the Production Team and subject experts to create a detailed and timed Commissioning Delivery Plan.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Commissioning Plans with Project Teams and Yorkshire Water during the Project Brief/Outline Design stage.
  • Establish robust commissioning processes and procedures that meet Company and Yorkshire Water requirements, ensuring exceptional commissioning performance.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to provide technical expertise and deliver all commissioning activities.
  • Ensure high-quality Operation and Maintenance Manuals are produced, and training of personnel is undertaken.
Requirements
  1. Detailed technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and chemical engineering commissioning, preferably in the water sector.
  2. Minimum HNC qualified in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering.
  3. SMSTS safety qualification.
  4. CSCS card.
  5. A competitive salary of £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits.
  6. Car allowance.
  7. 34 days annual leave (with the option to buy or sell up to 3 days holiday).
