As Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in diversifying and growing the supporter base in the UK and Europe, engaging foundations and high-net worth donors.

This opportunity offers a chance to drive meaningful change by building strategic partnerships that empower young people to break free from poverty. You will be responsible for:

  • IDentifying and engaging potential high-net-worth supporters through partnerships, event sponsorship, and major donations.
  • Developing and executing acquisition strategies for new business prospects to secure sustained support.
  • Meeting annual targets for new contacts, engagement, and income generation.
  • Collaborating with the Executive Director on prospecting, pitching, and negotiating new partnerships.
  • Building and managing strong relationships with partners to maximise support and uphold Magic Bus's reputation.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record of developing relationships from family foundations or major donors, with a history of establishing valuable partnerships and achieving financial targets.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with strong skills in prospecting, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement at senior levels.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, capable of creating impactful pitches and proposals.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and able to work effectively under pressure, translating strategy into action.
