About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Deputy Lead to join our dedicated team at the Isle of Wight NHS Trust. As a key member of our Cancer Nursing team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of nurses to deliver high-quality patient care and services
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve patient outcomes and experience
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care pathways and effective communication
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with national standards and guidelines
  • Provide education and training to staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Registered nurse with extensive experience in cancer care
  • Advanced leadership and management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Strong knowledge of national cancer standards and guidelines, with the ability to apply this knowledge in practice
  • Ability to work autonomously and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
