Job Overview

JACOBS DOUWE EGBERTS is seeking a Consumer Research Manager to join our Market & Consumer Insights team. As a key member of our UK Marketing function, you will be responsible for delivering consumer-centric, evidence-based research to inform our brand building strategies.



Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Marketing teams to develop research plans aligned with key objectives
  • Develop and manage research briefs, proposals, and agency partnerships
  • Ensure research projects meet business objectives and implications are understood
  • Drive consumer-centricity across the JDE business
  • Act as a critical thought-partner to the Marketing team and wider business
  • Own Mental Availability Tracking, including reporting to marketing teams and leadership
  • Stay up-to-date on latest macro and consumer trends
  • Manage our Mystery Shopping programme


Requirements

Education:



  • Bachelor's / Master's Degree or equivalent

Experience:


Should have / demonstrate:



  • A passion for consumer and shopper behavior
  • Strategic and innovative thinking
  • Strong analytical and storytelling skills
  • Strong communication skills: able to confidently engage with a broad set of stakeholders and lead external agency partners
  • Confidence to present in front of large audiences
  • Collaborates well across teams
  • Significant relevant experience in FMCG marketing or research agency
  • Experience delivering projects across a wide variety of research methodologies (qual and quant) with a breadth of agencies
