Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Special Schools nursing team. The successful candidate will provide safe, effective, and child-centered quality care to children and young people with complex health care needs.
About the Role: As a Nurse Specialist for Special Schools, you will work closely with the Nurse Team Leader and Nurse Manager to contribute nursing skills and knowledge in the care of children and young people in the school setting. You will be responsible for rotating between special schools to share knowledge, skills, and working practices.
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you must be a first-level degree registered child, adult, or learning disability nurse with experience of working with children and young people. Previous experience of working within a community setting would be advantageous. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work as part of a multiagency team and independently.
