Job Title - PLC Programmer
Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement PLC programs for industrial automation systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  2. Design and configure HMI screens for operator control and monitoring, prioritizing user experience and efficiency.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and specifications for PLC programming projects, fostering open communication and innovation.
  4. Troubleshoot and debug PLC programs to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity.
  5. Conduct testing and validation of PLC programs to ensure proper functionality and performance, adhering to industry standards and best practices.
  6. Provide technical support and guidance to maintenance and operations teams regarding PLC systems, promoting knowledge sharing and expertise.
  7. Stay updated with the latest advancements in PLC technology and recommend improvements to existing systems, driving continuous improvement and excellence.
  8. Create and maintain documentation for PLC programs, including program logic, wiring diagrams, and user manuals, ensuring clarity and accessibility.
  9. Assist in the installation and commissioning of PLC systems, ensuring proper integration with other equipment and minimizing disruptions.
  10. Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to source and procure necessary hardware and software for PLC projects, optimizing resources and costs.
Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field, with a strong foundation in programming principles and automation systems.
  2. Strong knowledge of PLC programming languages, including ladder logic, structured text, and function block diagram, with experience in software development and testing.
  3. Proficiency in programming software such as Siemens TIA Portal, Allen-Bradley RSLogix, or Schneider Electric Unity Pro, with expertise in PLC programming and configuration.
  4. Experience in designing and implementing PLC control systems for industrial automation, with a focus on efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
  5. Ability to troubleshoot and debug PLC programs and hardware components, with a strong problem-solving mindset and analytical skills.
Education

Bachelor's degree in electrical, electronics, or instrumentation engineering, with a strong emphasis on automation systems and PLC programming.

Experience

At least 6 years of experience as a PLC & HMI programmer in Siemens, Allen Bradley, and Mitsubishi PLC & HMI software tools, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions and meeting project deadlines.

Experience using Autocad & Eplan P8 to read and interpret control schematics and troubleshooting, with expertise in electrical engineering and automation systems.

Experience with motion control and servo motion control systems, as well as different communication protocols like Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, and TCP/IP, with a strong understanding of industrial automation and control systems.

Implementation and maintenance of hardware configurations and power requirements, with a focus on efficiency, reliability, and scalability.

Ability to work independently, travel, and apply problem-solving thinking, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Be able to work and collaborate in a team environment, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality solutions and meeting project deadlines.
