Interim Financial Director

Mitchell Adam is currently supporting a well-established services company who are seeking a seasoned Financial Controller to lead the finance function during a period of transformation.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated, commercially astute Financial Controller to demonstrate their ability to 'hit the ground running' in a fast-paced services company. You will be responsible for overseeing the business planning and forecasting processes, as well as being involved in the continuous improvement of the finance function, including cost control.
Ideally, you will:
- Be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience of leading a financial function through a period of change
- Have strong experience of providing financial support of a commercial nature to non-finance stakeholders - effectively managing these relationships for the benefit of the business.
- Have good financial reporting, control & analysis skills, allowing you to quickly identify and address improvements that can be made in order to increase productivity, streamline processes and improve reporting outputs;
- Have existing experience of being an effective part of a senior management team, effecting positive change dictated by high-level operational strategy (communicating this effectively and directing your team to achieve financial objectives aligned with overall business strategy);
