About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Residential Care team as a Childrens Residential Support Worker. As a key member of our care team, you will play a vital role in providing a supportive and nurturing environment for young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to young people during challenging times
  • Foster ambition and assist young people in achieving their goals and maximizing their potential
  • Support young people in their educational pursuits and help them develop essential life skills
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare written reports for planning meetings and reviews
  • Empower young people to participate in decision-making about their lives and future
  • Act as an advocate in meetings where the young person is the subject of discussion
  • Encourage community engagement and participation in off-site activities
  • Meet the needs of children and young people, organize social activities, and maintain the home environment
Requirements
  • Minimum age requirement: 21 years old
  • Full UK driving license preferable
  • No prior experience necessary, only a commitment and passion for working with young people
  • Attendance at a 2-week training program required
  • Must have availability for sleep-in shifts
