Lead Pattern Engineer

Burberry Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Pattern Technician to lead our Pattern Team in Castleford, UK. This key role involves managing pattern construction, amendments, and grading, as well as ensuring size chart accuracy.
About the RoleAs a Senior Pattern Technician, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the Pattern Team in developing innovative pattern techniques
- Collaborating closely with Design, Product Development, and Product Engineering teams in London and Castleford
- Creating, grading, and amending patterns from sketches, basic blocks, or reference samples
- Digitally creating and updating patterns using Lectra and Clo3D systems
- Preparing patterns for manufacturing, including seam allowances, notches, grain lines, and labels
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards and provide cost-effective production methods. A strong understanding of fit, body movement, and body proportion is essential for this role.
About YouWe are looking for an experienced Senior Pattern Technician who possesses:
- A minimum of 3 years working experience in a similar role
- Digital pattern cutting experience, preferably with Modaris/Lectra
- Strong knowledge in fit, body movement, and body proportion
- Clo3D knowledge is advantageous
