Equipment Maintenance Planner Role at Taiko Foods

We're seeking an experienced Maintenance Coordination Specialist to join our team at Taiko Foods. This exciting opportunity will allow you to work closely with our production and maintenance teams to ensure the smooth operation of our equipment.

As a key member of our maintenance team, you'll be responsible for planning and coordinating preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance. Your strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively with various departments will be essential in maintaining our high operational standards.

This role offers a competitive salary of £34,000 - £40,000 per annum, based on experience, plus a range of benefits including a pension scheme, private medical cash plan, and access to our award-winning sustainability initiatives. About the Role:

  • Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules for all equipment and machinery.
  • Analyse equipment performance data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure efficient execution of maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate with production teams to plan and schedule maintenance activities that minimize disruptions.

About You:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in maintenance planning or a related role in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management software and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
