Job Title: Band 7 District Nurse Team Lead

Surrey Downs Health and Care is seeking a highly skilled and experienced District Nurse Team Lead to join our team on a permanent basis.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the District Nursing Team, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to agreed standards.
  • Assess patient needs and develop, implement, and evaluate care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
  • Facilitate educational programs for basic, post-basic, and in-service training, working closely with the Learning and Development Team.
  • Lead and facilitate patient-focused, innovative research-based practice, aligning with Surrey Downs Health and Care objectives.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Critical analysis skills and ability to assess and deliver high-quality care.
  • Experience in nurse leadership and management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Ability to work effectively across agencies and negotiate for the maximum effectiveness of care.
  • Strong IT skills and timely data entry.
Person Specification:
  • 1st level registration educated to Level 3.
  • Evidence of team management experience.
