Join Industry Placements as an Electricity Transmission Project Manager

As a key member of our Customer Connections Team, you will connect customers to the electricity transmission network, ensuring a safe and efficient delivery of projects. Your main responsibility will be to support Project Managers in achieving time, quality, and cost objectives, while gaining valuable experience in commercial, contractual, and financial management throughout project lifecycles.

You will develop innovative design solutions that comply with National Grid's policies and procedures, contribute to Project Quality Assurance, and oversee contractor activities for compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Your role will also involve driving customer and stakeholder satisfaction, taking ownership of customer feedback, and assisting Customer Account Managers in providing necessary information for timely customer offers.

As a permanent role, you will work closely with experienced Project Managers in Engineering, Procurement, and Commercial functions. You will be required to have a valid full UK Driving License and be flexible to travel within the role and throughout your rotations as required.
