Sales and Account Manager

We are looking for an experienced Sales and Account Manager to join our team at Simon Acres Group in Cambridgeshire.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering new business sales and existing account development, and possess excellent communication and relationship building skills.
Salary: Up to £28,000 per annum + Quarterly bonus
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:30am - 4:00pm (no weekend work required)
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales growth by identifying new business opportunities and developing existing accounts
- Built strong relationships with key accounts and manage their expectations around product availability and delivery schedules
- Collaborate with the external sales, warehouse, and credit control teams to ensure smooth operations
- Respond promptly to customer enquiries and orders
- Ensure all quotations are followed up when necessary
- Address customer issues and queries efficiently
Requirements:
- Proven sales and account development experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to meet sales targets and exceed customer expectations
- Knowledge of construction products an advantage but not essential
- IT literacy with proficiency in software applications
