Accounting Associate

As a Sales Ledger Specialist at Merlin Entertainments - Corporate, you will play a vital role in managing the full O2C process, ensuring timely payments and minimizing overdue accounts.
Key Responsibilities:- Approve trade accounts and billing documents within strict deadlines.
- Proactively manage collections to maintain cash flow and resolve billing and pricing queries quickly.
- Maintain and reconcile ledgers, ensuring all accounts are up to date and in line with month-end deadlines.
- Work closely with the trade team to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
- Utilize strong verbal and written communication skills to handle collections and queries with a resilient and confident approach.
- Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, or credit control roles (finance degree desirable).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
