About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pressure Conformity Inspector to join our Energy and Engineering team. As a Pressure Conformity Inspector, you will provide inspection and verification of pressure equipment products and permanent joining within authorised scope of QnS Codification assigned inspection codes and UK regulation requirements (PESR, Permanent Joining).

Responsibilities

  • Provide inspection and verification of pressure equipment products and permanent joining within authorised scope of QnS Codification assigned inspection codes and UK regulation requirements (PESR, Permanent Joining)
  • Provide verification and certification of permanent joining procedures and joining personnel
  • Ensure informed knowledge of developments in standards and legislation affecting all welding activity is maintained and supporting change as required
  • Perform verification, quality assessment, documentation review activities on contracts undertaken by the BU and BV Group where applicable and ensure efficiency, profitability and LTO compliance is maintained, including contract review, compliance with procedures and regulations, etc.
  • Maintenance of BV Code of Ethics and Conflict of Interest at all levels of inspection and personal involvement on the behalf of BVUK and BV Group.
  • Responsible for reporting business opportunities to the BU Manager
  • Maintain Client and Verification Engineer relationships

Deliverables

  • Inspection reports, records and PESR certificates as appropriate
  • Retrain client contracts and relationships working with the Verification Engineers.
  • Ensure quality and accuracy of technical content of inspection reports /Certificates.
  • Increase commercial awareness with respect to potential new opportunities with existing clients, incorporating "added value"
