About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional individual to fill the position of Training Programme Director for Chemical Pathology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of educational programmes that meet the needs of our learners and the healthcare sector.

Your primary focus will be on improving learner supervision, assessment, and experience, as well as engaging faculty and ensuring effective educational outcomes. You will work closely with the Head of School and other stakeholders to achieve these goals.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues at all levels. You will be a strategic thinker, able to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex problems.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement educational programmes that meet the needs of our learners and the healthcare sector.
  • Improve learner supervision, assessment, and experience.
  • Engage faculty and ensure effective educational outcomes.
  • Work closely with the Head of School and other stakeholders to achieve programme goals.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to complex problems.
Requirements
  • Primary medical qualification or On the Specialist Register.
  • Membership/Fellowship of a College, Faculty, Professional Association and/or Regulatory Body.
  • Experience of working with learners or doctors in training in an educational context.
  • Experience of clinical and educational leadership.
  • Demonstrable track record of delivery in service and education.
