Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our Facilities Division at Lancaster University as a college porter. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and supporting the day-to-day operations of the campus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working on a 24-hour shift rotation, covering a temporary absence
  • Providing a high level of customer service to students, staff, and visitors
  • Supporting the maintenance and upkeep of the campus facilities
  • Working collaboratively with other teams to ensure a smooth operation

Requirements:

  • GCSE level in Maths and English
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
  • Flexible approach and attitude to solving day-to-day problems
