About the Role

Arm Limited is seeking a highly skilled Senior Verification Engineer to join our team in Cambridge, UK. As a Senior Verification Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development of best-in-class silicon demonstrators based on Arm's IP compute sub-system solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement verification plans, methodologies, and testbenches for complex SoC designs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architecture, design, and implementation, to ensure seamless integration and verification of IP blocks.
  • Lead the verification effort for Arm's silicon demonstrators, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in verification methodologies, including UVM/OVM, formal, low power, and emulation.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on verification best practices.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in SoC verification, with a strong background in C/C++ and/or hardware verification languages (SystemVerilog).
  • Knowledge of assembly language (ARM) and shell programming/scripting (Tcl, Perl, Python).
  • Experience with various verification methodologies, including UVM/OVM, formal, low power, and emulation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Understanding of machine learning, neural networks, automotive, or computer vision applications.
  • Experience with power-aware and clock domain crossing implementation.
  • Knowledge of embedded operating systems, device drivers, microprocessor, and embedded system hardware architectures.
