We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class 2 Day Driver to join our team at Gregory Distribution. As a Class 2 Day Driver, you will be responsible for making multi-drop palletised deliveries and collections to and from businesses and private addresses around the South West.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading of vehicles, ensuring load security.
  • Planning routes on a day-to-day basis.
  • Completing daily vehicle checks on company phones.
  • Working closely with network hubs.
  • Keeping in regular contact with the transport team for updates on progress and managing customer expectations.
  • Attending regular training sessions.

Requirements:

  • Must have a UK Class 2 (C) driving license.
  • Hold a current DCPC card and digital tachograph driver card.
  • Experience of delivering loads directly to client sites is advantageous.
  • Be passionate about providing excellent customer service.
  • Working to deadlines.
  • Confident, polite, and a team player.
  • Good geographical knowledge.
  • Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be fit, flexible, hardworking, and self-motivated.

Benefits:

  • Salary for Class 2 Day Driver is between £33,000 - £37,000 per annum and more, depending on hours worked.
