Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join our team at Allianz Popular SL. The successful candidate will lead the build of a new data reporting suite to support commercial business decision making for fronted business.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain the data reporting suite to provide accurate and timely insights to the business.
  2. Take ownership of the reporting requirements to/from our fronting partner, including data file transfer with automated IT feeds.
  3. Negotiate commercial terms and conditions with potential new fronting partners and document the agreements with the Business Solutions/Legal teams.
  4. Design processes to ensure all agreed terms & conditions are shared with the relevant departments in a timely manner.
  5. Act as the central point of contact for the business on all fronted agreements.
  6. Renegotiate commercial terms and conditions with existing fronting partners and captive contracts to ensure the best deal for Allianz.
  7. Identify key commercial risks, corresponding controls, and monitor risks and controls.
  8. Trigger commercial audits and conduct reviews of processes and procedures following the identification of issues.
  9. Develop and maintain processes to ensure contractually agreed prices are built into premium rates and flow through correctly to Finance for payment.
  10. Manage compliance with group governance requirements for fronted contracts and captive contracts.

Requirements

To be successful in this position, you will have most of the following skills/experience:

  1. Experience of leading data and reporting transformation within insurance companies.
  2. Proficient user of SQL and Power BI.
  3. Experience of working in a large, complex global financial services organisation.
  4. Experience of working internationally.
  5. Degree and/or professional qualification with technical background.
  6. Good knowledge of MS Office and good numerical skills.
