Job Opportunity: Vehicle Technician / Forklift Engineer

Location: Preston and surrounding areas

Salary: Up to £36k basic (dependent on experience), with a realistic OTE of £45k+ in the first year, plus excellent benefits

Hodfin is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / Forklift Engineer to join our team in the field. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and attending breakdowns of forklift trucks, as well as diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic faults.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Servicing and maintaining forklift trucks to ensure optimal performance
  • Attending breakdowns and diagnosing faults to minimize downtime
  • Providing excellent customer service and support to our clients

Requirements:

  • Full UK driving license with less than 6 points
  • Experience repairing wheeled vehicles
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant engineering area (desirable)
  • A strong work ethic and can-do attitude
  • Excellent customer service skills
