Are you a newly qualified Teacher (NQT) looking to start your career in a placement school? At Protocol Education, we are currently seeking students who have completed their PGCE or any form of teacher training to work as a Supply Teacher on a full-time basis.

We are working with various Primary and Special Needs schools in the Hemel and St Albans areas who require daily, short-term, and long-term supply cover across KS1, KS2, and early years. As a Cover Supervisor or Qualified Teacher, you will be responsible for supervising work pre-set in accordance with the schools' guidelines, ensuring such work is carried out to the best of the students' abilities.

To manage the behaviour of pupils whilst they undertake their work, ensuring a constructive and positive environment is always enforced. You will also need to de-escalate situations within the classroom, adhering to safeguarding procedures and behaviour policies.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be confident in being in front of a class. Flexibility and adaptability to different situations regarding lessons and year groups are also essential.
