About the Job

Screwfix is seeking a highly experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to take their career to the next level and make a real impact in a fast-paced retail environment.

Job Description

In this role, you will support the Retail Branch Manager and take ownership of store operations, including managing budgets, rosters, payroll, and P&L analysis. You will also lead by example, motivating your team to deliver exceptional results and exceeding customer expectations.

You will be hands-on, working closely with your team to ensure seamless day-to-day operations. Your skills in leadership, customer service, and store operations will enable you to drive business growth and improve customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain store standards, ensuring a positive customer experience and exceeding expectations
  • Inspire and lead your team to deliver exceptional results, driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction
  • Manage budgets, rosters, payroll, and P&L analysis to optimize store performance
