Job Title: White Goods Technical Trainer

About the Role:

Pacifica, a leading provider of outsourced support and repair of domestic appliances, is seeking a highly experienced White Goods Technical Trainer to join its team. As a key member of the Training Department, you will play a central role in designing and implementing training plans, identifying needs, and developing training solutions within the context of the company values.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Training Manager in designing and implementing training plans, identifying needs, and developing training solutions for all new Trainees and Engineers.
  • Deliver in-house training programs, develop courses specific to services, and source external training requirements as needed.
  • Promote a positive safety culture within Pacifica.
  • Maintain and update training and reference materials.
  • Build strong working relationships with key colleagues to identify training needs and implement solutions.
  • Identify emerging issues and needs that will determine future demand for training across the functions within the Field Service Operation.
  • Ensure Pacifica's health and safety processes are maintained.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years White Goods repair engineering experience required, with up to date working knowledge of washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers, refrigeration, and cookers.
  • UK Full Driving Licence.
  • Successful candidate needs to be a reliable and conscientious individual.
  • Teaching qualification or willingness to work towards a teaching qualification (NCFE Level 3 Award in Education and Training & Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement).
  • A strong desire and/or experience in developing and facilitating training courses and development solutions.
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, and developing others in a complex, fast-paced environment preferred.
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement, bring measurable results, improve efficiency, and, where possible, save costs.
  • Excellent people skills, and used to dealing and building good rapport with various levels of management.
  • Excellent electrical safety knowledge.
  • Experience of managing own workload consistently and effectively.
  • A fresh, positive approach to training and development.
  • Excellent communication style and ability.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Computer literate (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc).
