Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the growth and development of our Host Community Cafe, driving revenue and community engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in cafe management, with expertise in operational management, volunteer recruitment and training, and health and safety.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a motivated individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with our customers, volunteers, and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing strategies to drive revenue growth and improve profitability
  • Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the cafe, including menu planning, stock control, and cash handling
  • Recruiting, training, and managing a team of volunteers to deliver excellent customer service
  • Ensuring that all aspects of health and safety are met, including risk assessments and compliance with relevant legislation
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in cafe management, preferably in a similar environment
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a passion for delivering exceptional experiences
  • A strong understanding of health and safety principles and practices
