About Us: Bluetownonline is a leading online retailer seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain & Logistics Manager to lead and develop our team.

The Role:

We are looking for a seasoned professional to manage the day-to-day operations of logistics, warehouse, shipping, and sales order processing functions. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving process improvements, managing costs, and building strong relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and oversee management systems to implement robust functional systems and controls
  • Ensure the management and control of costs through the supply chain, identifying opportunities to minimize cost and improve service
  • Manage and optimize management KPIs
  • Build and maintain good relationships with both external and internal stakeholders
  • Responsible for all warehouse activity, including space management, productivity, shipping and change management, inventory accuracy, and reporting
  • Manage carriers and pickup times to ensure all deliveries meet customer promise and resolve non-attendance
  • Accountable for having the correct stock in the right location at the right time

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills - the role liaises heavily with cross-functional teams and customers
  • The ability to influence and drive process improvement/best practice
  • A knowledge of SAP is required and solid exposure to Excel
  • Can demonstrate a highly collaborative approach
