About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Swimming Teacher to join our team at Vision for Education - Newcastle. As a Swimming Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality swimming lessons to pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver swimming lessons to pupils with SEND in a 1:1 and small group setting
• Work collaboratively with the school's teaching staff to develop and implement individualized learning plans
• Provide support and guidance to pupils with complex medical needs and physical disabilities
• Contribute to the development of a nurturing and educational environment that promotes independence and success

Requirements:

• Relevant swimming qualifications and experience of teaching swimming lessons
• Experience of working with primary and secondary school-aged children
• Desirable experience of working with pupils with SEND
