Job Description

The role of Offline CNC Programmer at Eco Personnel (UK) LTD involves programming CNC machines offline using CAD/CAM packages, primarily EdgeCAM. This position requires effective communication with Lead programmers, Shift Leaders, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient planning of the programming department.

Responsibilities
  • Liaise with machine shop personnel to ensure all required tooling and consumables are available to machinists when needed.
  • Interact with external suppliers to ensure tooling and materials are in place for new projects requiring non-standard tooling.
  • Assist machine shop staff with issues that may arise during the running of prototypes and new projects while ensuring adherence to company processes and Health and Safety policies.
Additional Duties
  • Undertake formal and informal training as required to fulfill the role with changes to programming methods and advances in technology.
  • Provide assistance to other departments in the form of operating CNC machines and assisting in other departments when needed.
