As a Commercial Vehicle Repair Specialist at Virtual Hub, you will play a vital role in maintaining our diverse fleet of HGVs, non-HGVs, and specialist vehicles. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team in Brighton & Hove.
You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, servicing, and inspections, as well as diagnosing and repairing complex faults using advanced electronic diagnostic systems. Your expertise will help ensure the highest standards of quality and health and safety.
This is a temporary position for 3 months, with a possibility of becoming permanent. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package.
Key Tasks:
- Maintenance, servicing, and inspection of HGV, non-HGV, and specialist vehicles, including MOT programmes.
- Working with advanced electronic diagnostic systems to diagnose and repair complex faults.
- Completing paperwork for repairs and insurance claims, ensuring compliance with legislation.
- Attending manufacturer training sessions and staying up-to-date with legislative and technical changes.
- Maintaining accurate records of vehicle and machinery repairs.
- Ensuring high standards of health and safety and quality service.
Requirements: Level 3 qualified mechanic with experience in a busy workshop environment, ability to adapt to new technologies, and willingness to expand skillset.
Location: Brighton & Hove, Pay: £19 p/h (PAYE), Hours: Mon-Fri 09:00-18:00, Duration: 3 months, with a view to going permanent.
