Veterinary Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our talented nursing team at a state-of-the-art referral centre in Nottingham.
About the RoleThis is a permanent, full-time position requiring 40 hours of work per week over five days, with a mix of early and late shifts. The role involves supporting referral surgeons in treating orthopaedic and neurological surgical cases, utilizing advanced imaging techniques such as MRI and CT.
Key Responsibilities- Assist with surgeries and procedures, including pre- and post-operative care.
- Conduct nurse-led appointments and perform schedule 3 activities.
- Provide patient monitoring and care.
- Oversee admissions and discharges as directed by the veterinary team.
- Dispense and verify medications.
- Maintain compliance with regulatory, practice, and operational standards.
- Lead team briefings to ensure efficient practice operations.
