At Selint Aviation - Executive Search, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Procurement Officer - Engines to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading the procurement of engines for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize engine spend and minimize costs
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with engine Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) and Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) suppliers
  • Lead a global team of engine procurement experts, focusing on capability development, workload management, and continuity planning
  • Ensure robust supplier performance management, effective contract negotiation, and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Provide commercial innovation to internal stakeholders through interaction with the supply base
  • Work with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to resolve commercial and contractual disputes
  • Develop effective working relations with key interfaces across the Group and operating companies, including the line, finance, legal, and other stakeholders
  • Develop group-level strategies for optimum use of assets and identify synergy opportunities

Requirements:

  • Established network across OEMs and MRO suppliers at senior level
  • Proven track record of successful engine procurement and management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
