HGV Technician Job Description

**Job Summary:**

Kemp Recruitment is seeking a skilled and experienced HGV Technician to join a market-leading Fleet Maintainer with depots across the UK. The successful candidate will work in a team of highly skilled technicians on a mixed fleet of commercial vehicles, undertaking all aspects of vehicle maintenance and repair.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Conduct six-weekly vehicle inspections
* Perform general servicing and pre-planned maintenance
* Carry out reactive maintenance as required
* Prepare vehicles for MOT
* Correct running defects

**Requirements:**

* Be a fully qualified HGV Technician with City & Guilds / NVQ
* Be able to undertake all aspects of commercial vehicle maintenance and repair

**Working Hours:**

The hours of work for this role are 7am – 5pm, Monday – Friday, with overtime available.
