We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Gold Group Ltd. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in managing a portfolio of projects, including the construction and refurbishment of substations, high voltage overhead powerlines, and other infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cost Management: Oversee and manage all cost-related aspects of projects, including preparing cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities.
- Financial Reporting: Provide accurate and timely financial reports, including cost forecasts, valuations, and final accounts.
- Contract Administration: Administer contracts effectively, ensuring compliance with terms and conditions and managing any variations or changes.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential financial risks throughout project lifecycles.
- Supplier and Subcontractor Management: Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring value for money and quality of work.
- Client Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing regular updates and ensuring satisfaction with project delivery.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and support junior quantity surveyors, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on infrastructure projects
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field. Professional membership with RICS or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, excellent attention to detail, and proficiency in relevant software (e.g., MS Excel, cost management software).
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
We offer a competitive salary and package, including:
- Starting salary of £50,000 to £65,000
