About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Care Assistant at GoodOaks Homecare. As a Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients in their own homes, enabling them to maintain their independence and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide companionship and engage in conversation with clients
  • Assist with daily household tasks and activities
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including cleaning, dusting, laundry, and ironing
  • Assist with meal preparation and cooking
  • Run errands, such as grocery shopping or picking up prescriptions
  • Assist with personal care tasks, such as bathing and grooming (if required)
  • Monitor medication schedules and remind clients to take their medication (if required)
  • Accompany clients to appointments or social outings (if required)
Requirements
  • You have a compassionate and caring nature
  • You are available to work 7am-3pm and/or 4pm-10pm plus alternate weekends
  • You have excellent people and communication skills
  • You are able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
  • You are reliable and trustworthy and can maintain confidentiality of client information
  • You have the physical stamina to perform household tasks and assist with personal care
  • You have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for work
  • You must have the right to work in the UK
