Rail Infrastructure Specialist

Network Rail is a leading transportation company in the UK, responsible for maintaining and upgrading the country's rail network.

We offer a competitive salary within our structure pay framework, ranging from £40,000 to £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This role involves working as an operative in Network Rail's maintenance teams. Your primary responsibilities will include inspecting, repairing, and maintaining the rail network, ensuring safety and efficiency.

• Inspect and repair track infrastructure, including rails, sleepers, and ballast.
• Maintain equipment and tools to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Work collaboratively with a dedicated team to achieve safe and efficient outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Rail industry experience, preferably in a maintenance or operational capacity.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driving licence (category B) and willingness to travel to different locations.
