Job Role

We are seeking a Complaints and Legal Lead to join our team at Daniel Owen Ltd. As a key member of our legal services department, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating complaints and litigation cases related to housing management, landlord and tenant law, and other contentious matters.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Social Housing sector, with experience in drafting documents and operating Microsoft Office suite and Outlook software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate complaints and litigation cases, working closely with internal teams and external partners.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve service delivery and reduce costs.
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on housing management, landlord and tenant law, and other litigation matters.

Requirements:

  • Qualified solicitor, barrister, or Chartered Legal Executive with a passion for excellence in the focus area (ASB matters).
  • A commitment to excellent service delivery and driving improvements in service delivery.
  • Experience of housing management related litigation and other contentious property and civil litigation.

What You'll Get:

  • An estimated salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
