Production Engineer - Manufacturing Efficiency Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Production Engineer to join our team in West Drayton. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for driving cost savings and process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive cost savings and process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
  • Solve complex production challenges using Six Sigma tools and problem-solving techniques.
  • Optimise manufacturing processes to meet quality and safety standards.
  • Work closely with Quality Engineers to verify and improve quality control systems.
  • Monitor and improve moulding processes.
  • Create and refine operating instructions and troubleshooting guides.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions.
  • Utilize CAD software for design and process improvements.
  • Identify and mitigate health and safety risks through risk assessments.

What You Bring:

  • A strong background in production engineering with experience in process improvement and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in Excel and CAD tools.
  • A Six Sigma toolbox mindset, focused on driving continuous improvements.
  • Experience with injection moulding and assembly equipment.
  • A solid understanding of HSE processes and standards.
  • Ideal education to degree level or with equivalent work-based experience.
  • 4+ years of relevant engineering experience.
