Job Title: Inflation Technician

We are seeking a skilled Inflation Technician to join our client's team in Sudbury, Suffolk. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for safely carrying out technical procedures for overhaul and repair of emergency evacuation equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out technical procedures for overhaul and repair of emergency evacuation equipment, including slides, rafts, and cylinder assemblies.
  • Ensure close attention to detail and adherence to exceptional working standards required in the Aviation industry.
  • Use tooling and test equipment in the correct manner.
  • Work within a team environment, with good communication skills.
  • Adhere to health and safety rules and procedures.
  • Conduct assigned tasks in a controlled and safe manner, paying particular respect to colleagues and equipment.
  • Work safely, within guidelines, with high pressure gas systems.
  • Work to set standards and deadlines.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times.
Essential Requirements:
  • Basic mechanical/engineering knowledge.
  • Ability to use adhesives and sealants where a face mask must be worn during the process.
  • Professional conduct displayed at all times.
  • Able to lift safe loads without assistance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, at all levels.
  • Numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Reliability.
  • Flexible attitude and approach.
