Job Summary

The Counter Lead is responsible for supporting the brand in driving sales turnover and market share through consistently remaining consumer focused; they are accountable for achieving this by reflecting a credible and professional brand image to all internal and external consumers at all times.

Sales and Service

• Maximize sales through selling, providing excellent service and retail standards

• Understand daily targets

• Keep up to date with additional sales avenues

• Analyze competitor activities and missed opportunities

• Effectively use social media to drive the business, protect and enhance the brand image

• Deliver the brand strategy, ensuring the delivery of an effective local plan

• Plan and implement local marketing and events initiatives, aligned to retailer activity

• Deliver excellence in execution of service, creating a zero consumer complaints mind-set and a surprise and delight culture

• Be an ambassador for the brand, ensuring brand values are represented and brought to life

• Manage all refunds and complaints in line with company guidelines

Operations

• Plan to ensure excellent standards at all times

• Review retail standards on a daily basis

• Ensure deliveries and stock movements are completed within agreed timeframes

• Implement auditable processes and administration as per company guidelines

• Minimize stock loss by implementing company security policies and procedures correctly

• Create and maintain a safe working environment for consumers

• Ensure health and safety responsibilities and operational activities achieve a minimum grading of 'Acceptable' during audits

Commerciality

• Manage daily replenishment

• Maximize sales performance by utilizing commercial reports

• Plan and deliver visual merchandising layouts, ensuring they are completed to guidelines and within agreed timescales

• Identify stock package issues and take corrective action

• Effectively manage promotions and discounts in line with company guidelines

Qualifications

• Must have experience in a fast-paced retail environment

• Ability to drive self-development

• Commercial understanding and awareness of the industry

• Effective communication, organization, and prioritization skills
