The Opportunity

We are seeking a Regional Director to manage our South East Aggregates business. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for designing and delivering a strategy to grow market share in the established London and outer areas region. You will make strategic relationships with internal and external customers to maximise profit and commercial success.

You will oversee the transport of crushed rock and aggregate materials into London and manage the commercial strategy to provide materials into major projects, merchants and independent customers. Our sophisticated logistics operations will support you in this role, with multiple railheads and deep sea ports facilitating the movement of product from super quarries in Scotland, Leicestershire and the South West.

As Regional Director, you will lead one of our most important markets and consult with the wider business to ensure we are keeping up to date with the latest innovation and market trends. You will recognise the value of authentic and people-focused leadership to ensure your team can perform to the best of their ability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and deliver a strategy to grow market share in the established London and outer areas region.
2. Make strategic relationships with internal and external customers to maximise profit and commercial success.

4. Manage the commercial strategy to provide materials into major projects, merchants and independent customers.

Requirements

You have extensive experience in managing a sizeable P&L and driving a commercially focused business into growth and expansion. Industry experience is advantageous, but we also welcome applications from candidates with experience outside of building materials.

This is a role that offers exposure to the wider business and is ideal for an ambitious leader looking to grow and develop in this role and beyond.
