About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team in Chester. As a key member of our civils team, you will contribute to significant warehouse logistics developments across the UK and prestigious retirement village projects.

Collaborate with industry experts and high-profile private and public-sector clients to deliver high-quality engineering designs and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and drafting of engineering designs, drafts, and analysis of drainage and highways works for major projects.
  • Reporting: contributing to high-quality written reports on various projects.
  • Technical data and drawings: preparing, presenting, and self-checking technical data and drawings.
  • Meetings: attending site and project team meetings under the direction of a Senior Engineer or Associate.
  • Bids and proposals: contributing to writing bids and fee proposals.
  • Professional development: actively working towards Incorporated or Chartered Status.
  • CPD participation: participating in and presenting at Lunch and Learns and other CPD opportunities.

Requirements
  • Education: a degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: minimum of 2 years' relevant design office experience.
  • Skills: proficient in using AutoCAD to produce drainage or highways designs/drafts.
