Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our growing engineering company. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for producing 2 & 3D designs for manufacture, working with the shop floor to overcome design and fabrication issues, and working on existing products to improve or alter existing designs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Produce 2 & 3D designs for manufacture
- Work with the shop floor to overcome design and fabrication issues
- Work on existing products to improve or alter existing designs
- Mechanical calculations
- Produce BOM's

Requirements:

- Be fully conversant with 3D Design packages, ideally Inventor
- Have experience of producing designs and calculations for manufacture
- Hold a relevant mechanical engineering qualification
- Be looking for a long term career with a successful engineering organisation
- Have your own transport or be willing to relocate to the local area
