We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Healthcare Assistant / Assistant Practitioner to join our team at the Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC) in Southampton.
The UTC is a fast-paced and dynamic environment, seeing up to 180 patients per day with acute health concerns. Our multidisciplinary team of GPs, Paramedics, Nurses, and support staff work together to provide focused individual patient-centred care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing direct hands-on support and advice on a range of presenting conditions at the UTC
- Leading and supporting the HCA team to deliver high-quality care and treatment
- Supervising HCAs to develop their skills and knowledge
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- Awareness of National Minimum Standards in healthcare
- Computer literacy and ability to accurately update records and databases
Estimated Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package, including opportunities for career development and progression.
