Consultant Adult Psychiatrist with Community Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will have expertise in adult psychiatry and a strong interest in community-based care.
Key Responsibilities- Lead on quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation projects in partnership with the service manager.
- Provide clinical leadership for the multidisciplinary team, including direct clinical assessments, consultations, risk assessments, and care plans.
- Clinical supervision of specialty doctors working with the team.
- Responsible Clinician duties.
- Regular clinical liaison with community mental health teams, families, and carers.
Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust has established a high-quality multidisciplinary community and liaison perinatal mental health service across five London Boroughs. Our Perinatal Mental Health Service comprises specialist multidisciplinary perinatal mental health teams serving five boroughs, enabling the delivery of evidence-based perinatal mental health care through a coordinated multidisciplinary specialist approach across maternity, primary, and secondary care.
Person Specification- Essential qualifications include a medical degree, MB BS or equivalent medical qualification, and full registration with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
- Desirable qualifications include a qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research, or management, and MRCPsych or MRCPsych equivalent approved by the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
