Job Summary:
DMR Personnel Ltd is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Principal/Senior Structural Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering department, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of structural engineers on various projects across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of structural engineers to deliver high-quality design outputs within agreed timescales and budgets.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to promote buildability and supply chain efficiency in design outputs.
- Coordinate design outputs across all technical disciplines to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Ensure that all design outputs meet the required specifications and company standards.
- Monitor and control design changes to maximize cost efficiency.
- Raise and resolve technical queries to ensure project delivery.
- Establish working relationships with clients and supply chain representatives to promote buildability and supply chain efficiency in design outputs.
- Contribute to ensuring a safe working environment for all staff.
- Maintain a positive and solution-oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback.
- Take all reasonable steps to ensure appropriate confidentiality.
Requirements:
- Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer CEng MICE/MIStructE.
- Proven experience leading and managing teams.
- Strong technical knowledge.
- SC clearance (or eligibility).
- Full Clean Current UK Driving Licence.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Tekla, or similar programs.
