Salary

The hourly rate for this position is subject to experience and qualifications, with an estimated salary ranging from £8-12 per hour based on a 40-hour workweek.

Job Description

Maintaining Order and Tidiness

You will be responsible for ensuring the laundry area remains clean and well-organized, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to upholding high standards.

Caring for Residents' Clothing

You will wash, dry, iron, and repair items as needed, maintaining linen stocks and reporting any issues to the Senior Housekeeper.

Creating a Welcoming Environment

Your goal will be to create an environment that promotes comfort and well-being for our residents, with attention to every detail.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are seeking someone with experience in a similar role, although great training will be provided. Excellent time management and organizational skills are essential, along with positive energy and the ability to get along with people.

A strong communicator with excellent listening skills, you will also have the ability to recognize signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise.
