This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional results in a fast-paced environment. As a key member of our transport operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our night shift logistics.
Your primary responsibility will be to support the Transport and Compliance Managers on the night shift, helping to maintain a safe and efficient operational environment. You will work closely with drivers to ensure timely dispatches, conduct effective briefings and debriefings, and manage safety and legal compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all workers comply with legislative requirements.
- Brief and debrief drivers to guarantee understanding of allocated runs.
- Review driver daily check sheets, ensuring roadworthiness and addressing defects.
- Licence new drivers (FTE, Agency) prior to first shift.
- Download tachograph data at start and end of each shift.
- Manage vehicle maintenance and service planners.
- Conduct yard walks and vehicle checks.
What We Offer:
