Engineering Standards Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Standards Manager to join our team at Babcock. As a key member of our design and engineering compliance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support to the Professional Head of Design and Engineering Compliance, ensuring the effective implementation of design and engineering standards.
- Assist in the provision of technical recommendations to the Rail Division, enabling them to assess the commercial impact of review findings.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of design and engineering standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, enhancing the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.
- HND or equivalent in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- Auditor qualification/training (desirable).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
